  • How's About a Concise List of all Table Skill Shot Requirements?

Yeah, yeah. There's guides a'plenty specifyin' such things. But wouldn't be the bees knees just to have every table's skill shots and the arcane maneuvers necessary to land them all IN ONE HANDY THREAD? I think so too! I mean, I don't think so enough to dig through all the table guides and faqs and ferret all that info out, MYSELF. But I know you dedicated pinballholics are a resourceful and helpful bunch and would love to compile such a thing for half-assed players like myself. By the way, is the Avengers skill shot even really possible, or did the programmers think it would be hilarious to pretend there's any possible way of landing those buggers consistently? Thanks in advance, my loyal ballers!

El Dorado: Launch the ball with enough power while holding left flipper up so the ball goes into a hidden sink-hole behind the upper left flipper. 500K. Make a timed shot across the table into the "kayak" area for another 2 million. (not the "Lost in jungle" hole).

Shaman: approx 3/4 power shot to allow the ball to drop into the bumpers. I think there might be a rollover light there for the SS. (I can't see it in the view I use). 500K

Tesla : About 1/2 power. Launch the ball into the middle hole in the launch lane.

V12 : About 1/4 power to launch ball softly into the sink hole.

SF2 : The auto launcher always sends the ball to the left rollover. The skill shot is the right rollover. You need to use an up nudge at the right time for it to drop into the right rollover. (Thanks to shogun00)

NGSII : I forget how much power to use, but you need to launch the ball on the upper narrow surface, then jump the ball with the up kickers manually.

Mars : 3/4 power to land ball in the correct bumper rollover lane.

Earth Defense : Launch the ball when the target on the DMD is on the robot

Epic Quest : Launch the ball around 3/4 power so it drops into the lit rollover lane

Paranormal : 3 stage skill shot. Launch with ~ 1/2 power (??) to drop ball above upper right flipper. Hit the cross ramp, then use the reverse flipper on the bottom of the table to bat the ball there the arrows are.

Sorcerer's Lair : Launch the ball with enough power to hit the flashing target in the launch lane. (Thanks HaloJ). There are two gates on the launch lane and between those two gates there is hole and a rollover (it's flashing) above it. You need to hit that rollover and have the ball roll back into the hole. The ball cannot leave through the two gates. (Thanks to shogun00)

Excalibur : One of the rollovers (above the bumpers) is flashing. Just hit that flashing rollover to get the skillshot. (Thanks to shogun00)

Spiderman : there are three possible shots for the skill shot. One is the random award hole (light shot), one is at the bumpers (medium shot) and the other is the right orbit lane (light/middle shot). One of those three shots will be lit. You just need to get the ball there. (Thanks to shogun00)

Ironman : 3/4 power into lit rollover lane in bumpers

Blade : There is a re-direct at the top of the launch lane. Use about 3/4 power at the right time to hit the lit sink hole on the left of the table. If you hit it, you can try for the right ramp (timed), then after that, the hidden sink hole. Good luck.

Wolverine : 3/4 power to hit lit lane on bumpers

F4 : 2 skill shots: I think it is a near full power shot to send ball around orbit, then time an upper left flipper shot across to the flaming ramp. The other is one of the FOUR flashing rollovers (above the bumpers). (Thanks to shogun00 for the 2nd one )

Capt. America : Launch the ball with enough power to hit the flashing target in the launch lane(thanks HaloJ), then try and save Bucky (lit ramp) before time runs out.

Ghost Rider : about 1/4 or 1/3 power to hit the top hole on the saw 'ramp' on the left.

Thor : Lit target at the center of the table. Use 1/2 power?

X-men : about 4/5 power to get close to bumpers without touching them.

Moon Kinght : Very tricky on the power. There are actually 2 loops at the top of the launch lane. Too much and it will go all the way around the outer one. You want just enough to drop into the first one. After that, you can hit the 'moon' from the upper right flipper for super SS.

Infinity Gauntlet : There is a rotating 'prize' on the DMD. Launch the ball to choose your prize. If you light the super SS, use the upper left flipper to make a timed cross shot to collect.

WW Hulk : about 1/4 power to hit the lit target just left of center of the table.

Fear Itself : Launch ball 3/4 power to enter the left outer lane of the table (not outlane, it is higher up). The one that makes the ball shoot around, and under the flippers. If it goes around twice, you get a double or super.

PvZ: There is a reverse scoop at the top of the lunch lane. During launch, there is a 'zombie head' that pokes his head up in the water. Launch with enough power to make the reverse scoop and drop the ball on his head. After that, there is a Super SS near the mission ramp (I forget exactly which one, but you will see it blinking fast).

The Avengers: Very similar to some of the others. One of the three rollovers above the bumpers is lit. Just shoot for that rollover. Using the Hawkeye ball will make it a super skill shot. (Thanks to shogun00)

If someone wants to add in details, I can edit this post to keep them all in one area. Corrections are welcome too (just going by memory here)

Captain America and Sorcerer's Lair : Launch the ball with enough power to hit the flashing target in the launch lane.

If successful Captain America then has a secondary hurry-up objective of saving Bucky which is the ramp above the word ASSAULT.

El Dorado's actual skill shot is to launch the ball into the hole under the upper left flipper which gets the "skill shot" voice to sound. It then is put back into play above the upper left flipper enabling you to make the shot for the 2 mil as mentioned in Caper's post.

oh yeah, I forgot that behind the upper left on ED was the actual SS, lol. Since it was so hard to do, I forgot about it since I couldnt do it even once during a long game the other night, heh. You can collect the 2M without hitting it though. Thanks for the response, I will add them to the post.

There is one. The auto launcher always sends the ball to the left rollover. The skill shot is the right rollover. You need to a up nudge at the right time for it to drop into the right rollover.

This one is a bit more complicated, then what is being said. There are two gates on the launch lane and between those two gates there is hole and a rollover (it's flashing) above it. You need to hit that rollover and have the ball roll back into the hole. The ball cannot leave through the two gates.

          Excalibur:
Same as some of the other tables. One of the rollovers (above the bumpers) is flashing. Just hit that flashing rollover to get the skillshot.

Spiderman : Launch about 1/2-3/4 to drop ball in bumpers. Might be a rollover lane
From my experience, there are three possible shots for the skill shot. One is the random award hole (light shot), one is at the bumpers (medium shot) and the other is the right orbit lane (light/middle shot). One of those three shots will be lit. You just need to get the ball there.

F4: I think it is a near full power shot to send ball around orbit, then time an upper left flipper shot across to the flaming ramp.
Two skill shot possibilities. The above is one of them. The other is one of the FOUR flashing rollovers (above the bumpers).

          The Avengers:
Very similar to some of the others. One of the three rollovers above the bumpers is lit. Just shoot for that rollover. Using the Hawkeye ball will make it a super skill shot.
