  • Upper flippers & friendscore-message

Hi all, first at all iwant to say , Zen2 is awsome ....
I wonder if any others realized that the upper Flipper sensibility is to high, you can't hold the upper Flippers quiet, while you hold a Ball on the same Side ln the same sided Main-Flipperarm . A Mate ( on his PS3 ) & me ,tried to take down the upper Flipper strengh, but as soon as you continue with playing a Table , the strengh switches back to original . I think it isn't supposed to be like that, because on X-Men ,for example, you should be able to hold the Ball on the right Mainflipper & shoot the second Ball up the Icemanramp , or am i wrong ?
FRIENDSCORE-MESSAGE aswell ,appears even after deactivating.....
"cough" don't want to tell from my 650 billion Score on Spidey that ended in a Gamebreakbug "cough"

Others have realized that changing the sensitivities of the flippers no longer results in a two-stage flipper. The upper and lower flippers always activate together. This has been mentioned in another thread. I forgot which one.

The PS Vita doesn't have pressure sensitive buttons like the PS3 controls and ZP2 seems to be a identical port (copy and paste) between the two versions.

I noticed that too, it should be a very easy fix. Hopefully they'll do that soon.

So we lost functionality on the ps3 version because the Vita can't support it? That doesn't sound right to me. Why then is the reverse not true? The ps3 doesn't have touch controls so why does vita have them? Port or no port, you design a game to take advantage of the features present for each system. Vita has touch interfaces so you take advantage of that. PS3 has a pressure-sensitive buttons so you take advantage of that. Hopefully this is just a bug or oversight during development of ZP2 and eventually will get the two stage flipper back with an update.

It makes sense to me, since Sony developed a middleware tool so any developer can make a direct port of a PS3 game to the Vita. If they were building ZP2 with the Vita in mind, then they probably created the game on the PS3 first and made sure all of the features would work on the Vita (less hassle on the conversion process). After that they ported the game over to the Vita and made a few changes in the video display, while leave the PS3 version as is.

You are probably right though. They probably had intentions to make a few changes to the PS3, but either they didn't get around to it or just plain forgot about it.

I hope they both will be fixed. It's harder to play multiballs without "2 stage flippers". Deactivating the Friendscore message won't remove it for me either.
