  • Zen 2 wont start on Vita

Game was playing fine all week but suddenly stopped working today. Tried turning it off and on again and tried removing the memory card neither worked. Tried other games and it just seems to be on this game. Any idea's?

Try taking the system into safe mode and select option 2 (rebuild database).

If that doesn't work, then try deleting the game and reinstalling it.

When I removed the memory card and put it back in, the system did the database rebuild but I'll try doing it through safe mode again anyway.

In terms of Zen Pinball 2, do you know if deleting and re-installing will remove your scores or are they saved to your PSN account? I'm in the first week of a Zen 2 league and would hate to wipe my score.

      Cheers for the help.

I'm not sure, since I don't own a Vita. The safe mode trick works for the PS3, hence why I suggested it.

I do know that your top scores are saved on the leader boards, but I don't know how the Vita stores save files.

Rebuilding the database didn't fix it, still just affecting Zen 2. I'll try deleting and re-installing when I got back from work. I'll update on here what happens in case this happens to other people.

Your leaderboard scores should stay, but your actual save file will be deleted and all tables will need to be re-downloaded.
I'm not sure how (or if..) that will affect you other than all your local highscores with your initials being gone.

Tried copying to PS3, deleting and copying back. Then tried deleting and downloading from store again and neither worked. After reading online the error code popped up in a few threads relating to trophy syncing and the best solution I could find also fixed this problem. I had to remove the memory card, format the vita, go through new setup again and put the card back in. No idea where this error came from or why it was only affecting Zen 2 but it was a pain! Local scores are gone which is fine but leaderoard scores are still there which is nice. Thanks for the replies.
