I'm nowhere near competing with the top players but for some weird reason it's still annoying and somehow discouraging to know that the pro scores are broken.

My guess is, once you get "double score madness" on the leaderboards, they'll both continue to count until you play that table again. After which it'll purge the extra score and you'll return to a physically possible Pro Score Gain from that table.
Airy theory, of course, but if that IS the root cause, it'd be easy enough to sneak in a "only count one score per table with a maximum possible gain of 1,000" patch in along with anything else that needs to get done to get Fantastic Four up and running (and fix any other nagging bugs).

You can cross off the Multiplayer Score Theory - the second highest person on the Pro Score list right now (over 26,000) is not ranked in Multiplayer so has a score of zero in that.
People in the 26,000+ club either have:
A score listed in Fantastic Four (giving an official maximum possible of 27,000)
Have somehow gotten official "tournament points" (assuming it's like in Pinball FX2 where you got points for your best score in an official tournament - but not sure how that would work with this sliding scale score system)
Accidentally been given Pro Score in the same game twice (I know I've briefly had two scores listed at the same time on the same table before, if it does an official Pro Score Leaderboard Refresh at that very instant it'd be possible to get more than 1,000 Pro Score credited from the same table).
Or some other random glitch.

I dont see a way to check pro scores per table besides playing every table again, and just tilting the game over to see. Then you could add up all the scores to see what the total is. Then play a bunch of multiplayer games to see if it changes... or, if you already have a bunch of multiplayer games, you could see if there was a difference... takers?

I was thinking the exact same thing, I guess we'll find out for sure when F4 is released.

No! You don't get a bonus when you're number one on a table.
There's two possibilities that I can think of.
1.) Glitch in the game.
2.) Review copies of Fantastic Four.
I'm leaning towards the latter. Although, F4 isn't available for the public. It might be available in beta form for the media and testers. If that is the case and they have played all of the other tables, then I can see where the 26,000 is coming from.Last edited by shogun00; 09-29-2012, 12:13 AM.

2600+ Pro Scores
From what I understand 2600 should be the max pro score if someone was 1st on every table. What is added to the highest scores that allow them to surpass 2600? Right now 1st place has 26280 and 2nd has 26271. Do you get a bonus for being #1 on a table?
As always thanks for any answers.Tags: None
