God Of War! Nuff said! Any and all explanations would speak for itself. Besides I want Playstation to have one good exclusive table.

I followed the link and the pictures did look vaguely familiar. I'll be 34 on Thursday so I guess that explains why I miss some of your references

If Zen makes another PopCap collaborative table, then I think a Bejewelled table would be a good concept.

Each Ramp/Orbit would signify a type of jewel and in the centre of the playfield there will be a Bejewelled game going. Choosing a jewel by shooting a ramp/Orbit would choose which jewels to match up on the playfield, and earn bonus points for causing cascades to happen. (possibly an extra ball for a x5 cascade?) Players can level up by matching enough jewels, which increases the point value of shots (and the level resets to 1 once there are no more moves remaining), there could be a separate difficult-to-hit sinkhole that activates any hypercube on the playfield, and there could be timed and puzzle table modes too.

I was thinking that there would be a lot of variety with voices. Mostly Athena with a good bit of Zeus and Kratos mixed in. Ares and Hades would factor in as well. I seriously doubt it would be anywhere near as annoying as the dialogue on the Thor table.

And am I the only person who has no idea what Hey Arnold is?

    Monsters & Co
    Hey Arnold!
    Spongebob Squarepants
    Transformers
    God Of War
    Harry Potter

How did you come up with such an odd mash-up of themes?
Are these the most requested from another topic or poll? Or are these
just ones you like and would be interested in?

If I had to pick one from that list then probably God of War, but the

The Simpsons likenesses and sound bytes, whether or not they got the voice actors - just to get a license to include Simpsons stuff in the game - would be a ton of money. Much more than God of War or Hey Arnold! Anyway I don't think it could happen, because EA seems to hold the Simpsons game rights right now.

That said I'm sure the Marvel licensing wasn't cheap, either. I'd guess they arrived at a price based Zen's projected sales, etc. but I imagine it'd have been hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Recently saw a web video where a guy in the industry was talking about Grand Theft Auto, and the licensing for the songs in the games - the stuff you hear on the radio in the car. $5,000. Per song. And there were hundreds of songs...

More epic than GoW? Lol, that makes me laugh for some reason. GoW is the very definition of epic. I have a hard time imagining a theme that would be more epic than that. I am a fanboy so I may be a little biased. I'm curious though, what themes do you feel would be more epic than GoW?

Good point on the sound clips, but then again Zen focuses heavily on audio quality in their titles. Using old voice clips may affect the audio quality.

As for licensing costs, I can't answer that. However, there is something to point out and that is "quantity". With Family Guy, Zen will only be able to make one table on it. With Marvel, there is so much material to work with that they can make several tables out of it. Multiple tables mean that they could possibly get a package deal on those licenses from Marvel, especially on those table packs.

I gave GoW a slight edge over Transformers, either one would be cool though.

It's not the same for Nickelodeon shows for example, which only a handful of them are even known worldwide.

Note: I'm not referring to The Simpsons or Family Guy here. They fall under the licensing issue. The voice actors alone would cost them an arm and a leg to get.

It was one of those shows that aired around the time I was "supposed to" stop watching kid's cartoons, my preteen years going into teen years, so I didn't get to watch as much of that as I did of Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, or Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (for Nicktoons).
Actually fans of Hey Arnold like myself would be around 20-23 years old, giving a great feeling nostigia and I believe would sell decently well. Perhaps not as well as God of War but diffidently more than some of the odd ball tables that they have.
