Play a game of Blade, then play F4. You'll see what we're talking about.

First we couldn't download the unlock because of a mess up and then I kept on getting a cart error once the file was fixed.
True to a certain extent, but this one is worse than the Pinball Arcade. The Pinball Arcade by far has the most sensitive elastic physics.
BTW There is only one virtual pinball. And that is Zen Pinball!! All the others are surrogates.

yeah, when the ball drops out of the mission saucer, if you dont use upper flipper, the ball will drop onto the top corner of the slingshot and bounce really high and "floaty". That is what he means.Check out my youtube videos for basic pinball strategies: caperUnderscore26

That's just one of them. Another example are those darn posts (with small rubbers) on the side of ramps. Hit one of those things and watch the ball wizz back to the flippers at super fast speed, then have the ball bounce off flipper's rubbers and watch the ball become extremely wonky/floaty.Last edited by shogun00; 11-19-2012, 05:21 PM.

Apologies for all the issues with Fantastic Four everyone. This definitely did not go the way we planned, but we're hoping to have this all resolved soon and to have a smooth release with Marvel Civil War tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed, pray, do a dance, or whatever... here's to hoping we have a better release this week!

Well It could be me but I had never had played FF where I could play a mission, Lock the ball for fantastic four ball, do Flame on Multiball or whatever it was and Clobberin' time all at the same time. Not sure what the term was where you are doing multiple things/missions/mutiball. It was pretty cool though.

i think you just naturally progress trough the missions. i get stuck on the dr. doom and nova flame mission a lot, so it takes me a little longer to get to wizard mode. but with that you can easily get 100m+. and i think by just trying to activate the super ball saver (name escapes me) you'll hit lots of ramps to make combos and start the multiballs. i don't have a logical strategy; instead i just keep the ball moving.

On Marvel Pinball, Fantastic Four was a difficult table largely due to taking a fair while to activate both kickbacks (force fields). Now the table is so much easier this time around. I beat the Wizard Mode on my first PS3 game. (I didn't get close once on Marvel Pinball) because for some reason the entries to the ramps were more forgiving. Activating the Negative Zone Ball Save is easier because of it, as is the missions - even the Dr. Doom mission seems like a piece of cake now. Having said that I know that I am a much better pinball player than I was when I was playing Marvel Pinball, so that may have something to do with it also.
Is it just me or was the Wizard Mode a bit... easy? No time limits or anything.PSN: Jeppo99
