ASSAULT Glitch

After triggering Assault on Captain America for the second time on the same ball the mode will start but if you hit the castle play field the ball just rolls through. This still stops the timer though, so then the only way to end the mode is by draining your ball.
This occurred for me on Vita. I'm not sure about PS3 although 3DS had a similar problem.

I'm pretty sure I've had the same problem on PS3. Haven't loaded up the table yet on the Vita, though.
