PBFX2 getting zen classic pack I say petition more for XBOX tables

Straight off the bat, I'll admit that I'm an Xbox player and I'm pleased about this news but it's worth remembering that Zen have a whole series of hurdles to overcome when trying to get all of their tables spread across all platforms. Today they overcame the first hurdle and while that is only good news for some of us right now, to my mind it should also be encouraging news for PS3 players as they seem to be making progress towards making their (and our) hopes a reality. As I said in the 360 sub-forum, it's one step at a time. With this switch over secured, they can focus on trying to secure the XBLA tables for the PS players.

Outwith that, it's saddening to read that some people are seeing it the way they are. While the disappointment is understandable, there is absolutely no need to resort to harassing people who are only trying to do their job - people who are bound by legalities and the constraints of proper procedure. It's unrealistic to expect any Zen employee to come on here and give us a detailed brief on the ins and outs of any legal proceedings they might be going through and to demand otherwise is just childish. The nitpicking over the "It's a Christmas miracle" line speaks volumes about some people - it is a "miracle" as far as Xboxers are concerned because we didn't think we would see these tables on our platform. A lighthearted comment that was intended to express the significance of the progress that Zen have made has been turned into a stick to beat them with. The level of petulance astounds me, we're all pinballers and all fans of Zen's work, let's give them a chance to do what needs to be done.

Good point though - do the people asking for these Xbox tables really know what they are asking for?

As I say above the Core Pack really is very good but most of the others date from FX1 days and are very dated. The tables have come on a lot since then.

On the subject of 'miraclegate' I must admit that even as an Xbox owner that choice of word did rub me up the wrong way.

Zen have already stated that they want to try to bring all their content within reason to all platforms so there fans can experience all they have to offer, this means that they want to do it and most likely one side of the Table would get his/her Tables first.. turns out the Xbox side won the toss of the Pinball

I don't! Microsoft can keep their PFX1 exclusives. I just want the PFX2 Core Pack tables (Bio Lab, Pasha, Secrets of the Deep and Rome).

Same here and I think we'll get them eventually. For the time being, I'm hoping we get some more new tables (not exclusive to any console) for us to play with. Ideally I'd like a new table each month, but I know these tables are not easy to make.

I wouldn't want Zen to downsize their quality to put out a table every month. I love the fact that they treat these tables like their babies and care for them and construct them to the best quality they can.

Don't worry, Parathod. We are definitely getting some tables next year. That's why I'm excited and not really concerned with what's going on here.

I used to be vocal about the whole 360 and PS3 debacle a while back on the forums, but now hearing all of the exciting stuff that's planned for next year supersedes any little thing I fretted over. I don't care anymore. I love that the Xbox folks can finally partake in what the PS3 has had. Tesla, El Dorado, and Shaman were just too great to keep to ourselves. Others need to experience it.

Another reason why I haven't really spoke about this is because Zen already knows the PS3 folks want tables from the Xbox, so its not like they don't know. Barbie has been doing great as a community manager with keeping us updated with information she could have easily kept to herself until it was time to announce it. No need to spread any hate. Take that frustration and go and kill your previous score on that particular table that caused you extreme rage.

I agree. I would just want the core PBFX 2 tables as well. It shouldn't be too surprising the Zen Pinball Classics are being released on the 360 since they have been announced for the WiiU as well. I'd like to see all tables for all systems. (Understandibly, system licensed character themed tables excluded, such as Ms. Splosio Man, and maybe Mario someday on the WiiU?)

Nightmare mansion is easy. However, if you have to defeat all of the monsters, then the difficulty would definitely be up. I love Nightmare Mansion. It's sweet!
