What's up with none of the tables working this morning.

Woke up this morning and the house is nice and quiet so I figure this must be a perfect time to play some pinball. I usually have the better games when no one is around to witness it. So I jump on the spiderman table, I still want to get that darn trophy. Got the one for the wizard, but the pumpkin one just has'nt happened. Miss 2 of the 3 skill shots, drain all three balls almost immediately. Okay maybe instead of spiderman I'll go play FF, miss all the skill shots and drain all 3 balls almost immediately. Well I should play a different table. Same thing happens again. No love from the game this morning. Have you ever just had one of those days...

Yes I've had those days. You gotta keep trucking man. I too have had the frustration of that stupid pumpkin bomb trophy as well. I'm so darn happy I finally got it. LOL Make sure you're doing the requirements for it.I personally did the 2nd fight for both Doc Oc and Hobgoblin to make getting the trophy easier for me.

All the time! One thing pinball requires is sharp reflexes and those can be affected by how alert you are. Are you a little tired? Are you slightly under the weather? Or are you recovering from a hangover? Those can affect your alertness and give you sloppy reflexes.

I would like to nominate this thread for the most misleading thread title ever award.

I saw that PS+ had installed a Zen 2 patch overnight and then I see this thread title and thought everything was broken. Glad that's not the case. Hopefully nobody from Zen has a panic attack when they see the thread title lol.

As for having off days on pinball I think that happens to everyone. Some days when I get home from work I try playing and can't muster the effort to even make a game close to worthwhile. That's when its time to watch a movie or something..

I simply hate when it happens. Whatever I do, I do it wrong. That's why I don't like to save a good game. I am pretty sure that when I'll pick it up later I will loose all balls in a row. And it regularly does happen!!

What are the requirements for the Pumpkin bomb trophy? I have never gotten it on either game. Also, on the main menu, some tables have a 1, 2, and/or a trophy on it. What is the deal?

You gotta make a pumpkin bomb explode in one of Doc Ock's arms. Get to level 2 Doc Ock so he can grab your balls ( ), then start up level 1 or 2 (?)Green Goblin. Basically, you'll want to hold the real pinball with one flipper, while shooting the pumpkin ball up so Doc Ock can grab it, while draining your real ball so it'll explode in time. It can be tricky, but I never have had much trouble with it.

If there is a number 1 on a table, it means you have the number 1 score among your friends. There are 2 trophies for each table. If you have them both, they'll show on the table logo. If you have 1, then it'll show one. When you first load it up, it takes a while for them to all show correctly, but to make it go quicker, just choose a table, then back out.
