Lost all my extra balls on Blade :-(

So yesterday I tried to beat wizard mode on Blade to get the trophy and surprisingly I beat it with ease. I still was on my second ball and had a total of three extra balls. After beating wizard mode the first time I played through the whole story thing again and beat wizard mode a second time in the same game and I was still on my second ball and still on three extra balls! I checked before wizard mode started I definately had those extra balls. After wizard mode ended the second time I drained a ball relatively quickly and the DMD showed that the third ball now comes into play. I was confused and waited for the status report to come up and it showed: Extra Balls: Not Available

So my question basicall is: Does the game delete all the extra balls after beating wizard mode or what happened there? I also wasn't able to get another extra ball after that even though I'm pretty sure I met the requirements for it

I never had that happen to me before on Blade. It's most likely a random glitch in the ROM, which I have experienced a couple times on other tables. For example, I believe it was on Wolverine, where I had a multiball playing and one of the balls drained. All of a sudden, the End of Ball Bonus appeared while the other ball was in still play and I lost a ball from the ball count.

I think It happened to me once but not on blade. I don't recall the table. In fact I think it was on the Clone wars or Boba Fett table. I'm pretty sure I didn't drain a ball for a bit when I did it was ball 3 already.
