  • Question about Epic Quest

I'm very tempted to buy the Epic Quest table.

My question is, how does the levelling and items - which I've heard carry over from game to game - work when two people (myself and my wife) regularly play the game on the same PSN account?

Would we simply have to jointly contribute to the same game? Would I be better of letting her play the PS3 game and stick to playing on my Vita so we can both have our own progress? Or does it not really matter if people share the table on one system.

Also, on a side note, how does the scoring work. Do you have to be significantly levelled up before you can achieve the big scores, or is it possible to score well even when you're just starting out?

Hope these questions make sense. It looks like a great table but the idea of it saving progress has put me off purchasing it so far.

I can't answer the multiplayer questions.

The only thing the leveling does is increase the Jackpot and Super Jackpot values. Otherwise, scoring remains the same no matter what your level is. You can get a decent score at level 0 FWIW.

      Thanks for your answer shogun

I guess if I buy the table it won't matter if my wife and I contribute to the same table progress.

After having just played the MARS and Earth Defense trials though, I think I might purchase those first!

Honestly, until you get to level 100, it won't make much of a difference, and will only improve scoring. Just make sure that you both understand how weapon/armor stats work. You wouldn't want to jump into a session to find that your +428 damage ice sword has been inadvertently sold for a +36 damage broomstick.
