  • vita multiplayer issues

hey does anyone know when the vita multiplayer will get fixed?ive tried finding multiplayer matches on three different vitas in various wifi hubs, like wrk, home or buddy's house.and still nothing.ive tried setting up matches between ps3 and vita.i played this game on ps3 and theres no problem finding matches.but as soon as i switch to vita and i try to find a match it says theres nothing try later.but there was 3 tournaments playin on ps3.does the vita have its own multiplayer?i thought there was multiplayer crossplay?thats why i bought this game.all my friends have ps3's.im the only one with a vita.if there is a problem do u guys have an eta on when its gonna be addressed, thank you for your time

Have you tried making sure you're logged out of PSN on your PS3 before trying to find matches on your Vita? I'm sure I read that some people found success that way.

In the meantime, the game is by no means broken. You can still play it on the go and have fun beating the scores of your PSN friends.

For the Vita users that are having problems, which version of the Vita do you own? The 3G version? Or the WiFi Only version?

The reason why I'm asking is because one of my buddies is able to play online multiplayer without any problems. He owns the 3G model and he uses the 3G for online gaming.

i got the wifi version.someone here mentioned screwin around with the router.opening ports and such.but i dont understand why i have to do that when all the other vita games work fine.ive had this game since launch and the multiplayer has apparently never worked.i always assumed no one was playing this game on vita.its been around a month now that ive found out that theres crossplay for ps3.like in my previous post ive tried finding matches on my vita, a buddy from wrk tried same thing.at home and wrk.and no luck.on ps3 theres no problem.so now im totally stumped.

so just to be 100% sure.there is crossplay between ps3 and vita? like when someone on ps3 sets up a match i, on my vita, can join this match?just like if i was on a ps3.if thats how its supposed to work then theres definitely something wrong and i dont think its from my end

Now that you mention it, I've been looking at various press releases that were around when Zen Pinball 2 launched and nowhere do I see any mention of Cross Play. Cross Buy is definitely mentioned but not Cross Play. At least as far as I can tell.

I haven't yet tried online multiplayer with my Vita version (and I don't currently have my Vita with me) but when I get a moment, I will see if it works for me and report back.

As an aside, I would like to take a quick moment to sincerely thank Zen Studios for making Zen Pinball 2 on the Vita such a fantastic and polished product! I personally have no real complaints and after reading on the Pinball Arcade forums about all the awful problems customers are having with the Vita version of that game, I feel very fortunate to have chosen to spend my money with Zen instead!

i know itmight be alot to ask for.but if there is no crossplay can you zen pinball guys maybe do something about that.there is, like, zero people playing this game on vita.and it would be nice to play with ps3 crowd.i'm pretty sure the vita can handle it
