  • 3d on an LG TV

    Hi,

As the title suggests I am playing Zen pinball 2 on an LG 3d 47" TV, when the game loads it tells me 3d is supported, would I like to activate? When I do activate, the 3d doesn't happen, the screen just goes fuzzy and unusable, I have to restart the PS3 for it to go back to normal. Has anyone experienced this with LG TVs? Am I just missing something?

    Thanks.

You have to activate the 3D mode on the TV too. Did you do that?

Absolutely, I did that, but still no good, still fuzzy, maybe I will try and grab some sort of screen shot. It's passive 3d if that's any help?

Edit: Here is the screenshot of what my tv looks like with 3d turned on. http://i.imgur.com/e4EhhYU.jpg

Whoa, thats no good. I have a passive 3D LG TV too, but never experienced anything like this. What is the case with other 3D games? Maybe your HDMI cable could be corrupted.

Now that you mention it, s/he could be using the wrong HDMI cable. A standard HDMI cable isn't 3D compatible. You need a High Speed HDMI cable (aka version 1.4) to play 3D.

Try a high speed HDMI cable..

I have a 42" LG Cinema 3D and it works fine with Zen 2. The 3D is actually pretty cool too..
