Cross Buy...

This is cross buy right? I bought the Avengers pack but I can't import it to my Vita (which is/was going to be the primary way I play) I've downloaded the base game on Vita and tried importing the tables but it just says nothing to import.

Did you first buy the Avengers pack from ZP2 or Marvel Pinball on PS3? You should be able to import it to your Vita with no trouble if that is the case.

If the in-game import option isn't working for you, go directly to the PS Store on Vita and search for it there. You should be able to purchase it for "free" and then download the unlock. After that, it'll install with no trouble when you load the game.

I bought it in-game on the base app zen pinball 2 on PS4. Also if I check on directly on psn with my Vita it still has a price tag.

Any content you want in ZP2 on PS4, that you also want on PS3/Vita, needs to be purchased on PS3/Vita first, then imported. All the details are here on the PS4 FAQ.

Well that's massively misleading! it doesn't say that on the store page, I understand it not being 'backwards compatible' with PS3 but the Vita is current gen and therefore I assumed probably like a lot more people that buying from psn on my PS4 will be compatible with the Vita.

You could try contacting Sony. They may refund you as a goodwill gesture so you can re-buy them on your Vita first.

Sorry, the imports only go one way, as listed on the FAQ I linked above.

I purchased all the tables on the PS4 before it was clear that the cross-buy was only one way. I contacted Sony because I was upset that I couldnt import to my PS3 or my Vita. First they told me there was nothing that they could do. I would have to re-purchase the tables on the other systems if I wanted them. I explained to them that it was not very clear that the cross-buy was only one way. They submitted a refund request for me. 2 days later I received a refund of all of my funds used on the PS4 purchases so I was able to purchase them on the PS3/Vita. Took some talking to but they did refund me as a one time courtesy.

That's awesome! I know they'll do refunds, but I wonder why so many of our players are getting flat-out denied one. Seems unfair that some get refunds and others don't. I wish I knew what their policy was exactly.
