It's just Sony updating their trophy server a bit early. FWIW, the trophies for Super Football League were listed 3 months before release.

Yeah.As great as Zen is i just think they could do a better job keeping everybody in the loop as to what is in store.Then we wouldn't have to find out via Sony or elsewhere and Zen would be in control of how the games get revealed and announced.I'm not talking about determining exact release days, just a rough overview for 2014.These are the tables we are working on and they can be expected in this or that quarter of the year.Then slowly release some details about the table, then some screenshots and finally the trailer.General overview concerning upcoming games 2014 is not too much to ask imo.

As nice as that would be, most of our tables are licensed, and license holders don't like us to just put up a big list of what's to come too far in advance.

Don't really buy that, just doesn't make sense to me.In the case of Deadpool the license holder is Marvel.What could Marvel have against Zen releasing the information that they are working on and releasing a Deadpool table in whatever time frame.Marvel announces their film projects years, even decades in advance!And it is not like the Deadpool table is in doubt.It is coming, no harm can be done by announcing it in advance.If there is red tape then Zen needs to cut it and get their point across.Zen should be able to give their customers a 6 month preview of what is to come, that service should be natural.And is most everywhere else.

Well in many cases it really does work that way and is that easy.Many videogames and movies are announced years in advance including production updates.License or not it is not like Zen is creating the table for themselves.Once a deal has been made it will be released and imo it should be Zens prerogative to annouce it and inform its customers far enough in advance.

We have timelines/schedules we follow (partly our own making and partly license holders). I wouldn't take it personally.

I wouldn't either and i don't.Well now partly Zen and partly License Holder already has a different ring to it.Ultimately Zen is responsible for keeping their customers in the loop properly and as far as i'm concerned that is one aspect that needs to be improved as this Deadpool episode shows.

It is when you are dealing with NDAs (non-disclosure agreements). In short, it's a contract with the license holder and you don't want to breach one of those.

If that truly is what is holding Zen back then it would be interesting to hear why Marvel would be so eager to enforce this, doesn't make any sense.Why would Marvel want Zen to only announce a table weeks or one month before release instead of 4 or 6?I'd think Marvel has bigger fish to fry than pondering when a Pinball table is announced.Deadpool is coming, why would they give a hoot when this is disclosed?Perhaps someone from Marvel can be found to shed a light on this.
Any way you look at it the information politics concerning upcoming Zen releases should be better.

Barbie was probably allowed to drop a hint or two, because the NDA wasn't that strict. However, giving out a release window is out of the question until Marvel gives them the OK. Same thing for advertising and marketing trailers and images.

That's the thing, i just can't see Marvel not allowing Zen to announce Deadpool 3 months sooner than later.I think as a rule they could care less about the timeframe of Zens table announcements.But that is speculation.As said it would be interesting to hear Marvels perspective on this.And NDA's are irrelevant for a general overview.Nothing is stopping Zen from saying that for example 2014 will most likely see 3 more tables roughly then and then.

Concerning the online store aspect...could be 3 bucks for a single table, could be 10 bucks if there is a table pack...maybe both.I have no idea what is coming at this moment and i'd like to.I love Zen and the tables are cool no matter what.I just feel their information politics should be better but maybe i'm the exception.

If you just assume there will be a Marvel or Star Wars table every 2 months you will likely be right 90% of the time….
