Yes! They are not done with Marvel in a long shot. Marvel has also confirmed this a few times now.

I would love something similar to Avengers Chronicles but with Spider-Man or the X-Men, with tables like Kraven's Last Hunt, Superior Spider-Man, Days of Future Past and Battle of the Atom.

The event based tables have definitely been my favorite so far. I couldn't help reading Avengers vs X-Men and designing the table in my head as I read. Days of Future Past would be a winner whether it was based on the comic or the movie!

A table based on Days of future past would be sweet. Plus I hope that they can make a sequel to Avengers based on the movie coming out next year. (Age of Ultron) They did a pretty good job with Avengers and I love the concept of using the different balls. It is a fun table.


As it is, I think the Marvel License is past so maybe they will skip Marvel for some time but who knows. I will accept any new table from Zen even though it has been overdone with the Marvel logo even SW.

Can't wait to get more info on this table and Walking dead as well.

I liked all the tables in AC but the Avengers movie table was definitely one of the best. I think a MCU Table Pack would be interesting, maybe with tables based on Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, an Agents of SHIELD table based on the TV show and an Avengers: Age of Ultron table.

I would hope however that Zen considers some more event based tables for Marvel akin to World War Hulk and Civil War in the future. That's the thing, i just can't see Marvel not allowing Zen to announce Deadpool 3 months sooner than later. I think as a rule they could care less about the timeframe of Zens table announcements. But that is speculation.

Do you know who Marvel is owned by? It's Disney and they are the biggest control freaks in the entertainment industry.

I'll never fully understand timescales regarding these releases etc. but I know one thing: Zen aren't holding back info just to annoy us fans

I wouldn't get too worked up trying to figure out why we can't know everything straight away, we'll get the juicy info when everyone is ready and it will usually be a decent amount of time before a table/tables is released anyway.

If you just assume there will be a Marvel or Star Wars table every 2 months you will likely be right 90% of the time….

It doesn't work that way and NDAs vary from company to company. The bottom line is that Marvel gets the final say, since it's their property. Barbie was probably allowed to drop a hint or two, because the NDA wasn't that strict. However, giving out a release window is out of the question until Marvel gives them the OK. Same thing for advertising and marketing trailers and images.


They did that in the past and there was nothing but nerd rage when a delay occurred. Personally, I prefer that they keep it silent until the table is ready. They give us a few weeks notice with the announcement and release date. That's plenty of time to scrape up $3 for a single table.

Concerning the online store aspect...could be 3 bucks for a single table, could be 10 bucks if there is a table pack...maybe both.I have no idea what is coming at this moment and i'd like to.I love Zen and the tables are cool no matter what.I just feel their information politics should be better but maybe i'm the exception.

It is when you are dealing with NDAs (non-disclosure agreements). In short, it's a contract with the license holder and you don't want to breach one of those.

If that truly is what is holding Zen back then it would be interesting to hear why Marvel would be so eager to enforce this, doesn't make any sense.Why would Marvel want Zen to only announce a table weeks or one month before release instead of 4 or 6?I'd think Marvel has bigger fish to fry than pondering when a Pinball table is announced.Deadpool is coming, why would they give a hoot when this is disclosed?Perhaps someone from Marvel can be found to shed a light on this.
Any way you look at it the information politics concerning upcoming Zen releases should be better.
