PS4 leaderboards/friends issue

I've noticed that some players don't show on my friends leaderboards even though we are "friended" and both playing on PS4. Their scores show under the global leaderboards, but not under individual tables, Pro-score, challenges or Teamscore.

Is there some setting or option keeping it from working or is this a known glitch?
Or maybe it takes several days for a new "friend" to actually show up on the list? Maybe there is a way to force the leaderboards to refresh on my system?

Anyone know what the issue is?

This has been a weird bug that comes and goes - If I remember correctly I think we have it narrowed down and should be fixable (not sure at what point though).

Thanks for answering. Bummer that there is no immediate fix, but good that it may possibly be fixed at some point though.
