  • What tables have you beaten?

The goal of pinball is to complete lots of objectives to get to a huge wizard mode. In many modern pinball machines, Wizard Modes are typically huge point frenzies, but in Zen, the modes take on huge stories and take a lot of effort to complete. What tables have you completed Wizard Modes in?

    Here's mine:

    - Ms. Splosion Man
    - Biolab
    - Spider-Man
    - Wolverine
    - Fantastic Four
    - Captain America
    - Sorcerer's Lair
    - Ghost Rider
    - Plants vs. Zombies
    - The Avengers
    - World War Hulk
    - Civil War
    - Return of the Jedi
    - Starfighter Assault
    - Super League Football
    - The Walking Dead
    - Guardians of the Galaxy
    - South Park: Super Sweet Pinball
    Completed Tables:
Spider-Man, Ms. Splosion Man, Captain America, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Sorcerer's Lair, Plants vs. Zombies, The Avengers, World War Hulk, Civil War, Return of the Jedi, Starfighter Assault, Super League Football

Wow thanks - I just realized I suck - I think I've only made it to the wizard mode in sorcerer's lair and the couple of pins that don't require you to actually complete the missions, just get through them - like Guardians and maybe south park (super sweet) - couldn't tell what was going on with all the stacking! There is alway one or two missions on each table that seem impossible and always cause lost balls and game over (theres one in fantastic four that destroys me every time). I am thinking of going for a new strategy called practicing where I go for the missions that i suck at first - rather than the missions i know i can complete (because i am alway going for the high score). I have also thought about going to the operators menu and increasing the number of balls (believe thats possible) just to practice getting through harder missions - but I also don't want that to mess up my "regulation" local high scores - don't want to go back to three balls and compete against impossible bloated scores I made with 5 balls - guess i could go to the op menu - clear local scores after i am done "practicing"

you've "beat" a boatload of these tables - any tips and or tricks?

practice practice and more practice. on the more complicated tables ill put in many many hours playing only ONE table get to know every angle and every bounce. i dont really see how a casual player could wizard some of the more complex tables like empire strikes back. you pretty much have to invest a few hours a day. Also dont confuse yourself reading the table guide until you play a few games. then if you have a question go to the guide and see what you have to do. Try not to overwhelm yourself learning all the modes all at once. after you play a few games start the first main mode and play the same mode until you complete it then go to the next in order. Eventually you will see progress and yourself getting deeper in the table. Learn flipper skills and my most important tip imo try to slow down the ball by trapping it. your accuracy will improve. also use the art work on the table as guide for the ball. most ramps have lines or paths that if you shoot the ball on that path it will lead up the ramp
      PLAY MORE PINBALL!!!!

      Go Bowen Kerins!!!

I have got some decent scores on some tables but i suck at getting to wizard modes. Think sorcerers lair is the only one i have done and thats because you don't need to complete the missions! I have started the wizard mode on fantastic four but didn't finish it.

Most games i am lucky if i complete 2 missions in a single game. Guess i need some more of this practice thing!
