Pro sports tables

The majority of American sports fans don't know any of the soccer/football clubs included in the Super League football tables. It gets next to zero TV coverage in the States and these tables still work so I wouldn't say familiarity is an absolute requirement.

Super league is a fun table I liked it because it incorporated soccer. True I had no knowledge or allegiance to any of the professional teams so I stuck with team zen! I can imagine the licensing nightmare with dealing with NFL NBA or MLB. I wouldn't mind and would actually prefer non licensed sports themed pins based on football, basketball, or (even) baseball.

There have been talks about that before but you should know that American Football isn't a popular sport at all outside of the US. I know that here in Germany there isn't a single professional American Football League and I'm sure that same goes for almost every other country. Same also goes for Baseball actually. What I'm trying to say is there wouldn't be any demand for such a table really. At least not for the broader masses.

PS: I'm not opposed to more sports themed tables but it's a more uneven balanced thing compared to something like Star Wars or Marvel comics which are universally liked all over the world.

If Zen does produce a NFL table would you by the table if it played like the soccer table,i think Us n players on other side of the pond would buy n play it n love it.

Of course I would. Earlier I agreed with Bobbys statement about the table theme not being the biggest issue for people when deciding on whether or not to get a table

Is it just the couple of NFL games that are played in London every year or really the entire sport though? I'm not there so I can't really say how big it really is but it sounds to me like US Americans watching the World Cup (Soccer/Football that is): Might just follow it because of hypetrain going on and all the talks but once it's over most people stop caring. Now is the UK just watching the games played in London or do they follow the entire season because they're interested in the sport?

Maybe those requests come from the US only though. Don't know how widespread your customers are . I'm just saying that the popularity of American Football is virtualy non-existent over here to a point where you'd be very lucky to find anyone who even knows the rules well enough to follow a match.
I have nothing against American Football as a theme for a table and I understand that it is absolutely huge in the US. It just would be kind of a weird choice to make when there are so many other very popular sports to chose from that everybody at least understands. Could be any other game played with a ball really

Whoa there - don't be so quick to shoot down other people's suggestions. We get tons of requests for sports tables, including NFL. You never know!

So just tell me Zen has something going on or at least talks about a NFL table. Just think you buy the team you love and have the table play like the soccer table. I hate soccer myself but the concept of the table is perfect,and opens the possibility of having a NFL or NBA table like it. So if Zen is getting tons of request for Pro Sports table CRACK that WHIP Barbie over there lets go lol.

I think people pay less attention to theme than most people would think. If it looks fun and plays well, a lot of players don't mind what theme it is

Bingo! I'm in that boat. I'm not a sports fan, but I had a lot of fun playing SLF. A NBA table would be neat IMO. I don't care for the sport, but having a basketball hoop in the playfield would be pretty neat.

I'm Australian and I love NFL. An NFL table would be sweet.
I detest soccer with a passion. Can't stand to watch it. But I still bought the Zen Pinball Super League table and I enjoy it.
Let us be thankful for what we have instead of stressing about something we don't

Well, I can't vouch for NFL being popular in australia (where I am from) but Baseball does have a rising fan base here.
