  • Skyrim Patch Question

Did the latest update include the patch with the fixes for Skyrim? I noticed some differences but the crafting problem I've posted before is still there, for me at least. I did figure more out about it though. It's not just the orcish bow that I can't craft, it's anything that requires an iron ingot. Unfortunately a lot of things require iron ingots. This last game, same character but new game started after update, I made sure to check and had 5 iron ingots in my inventory, yet nothing in the workshop that required iron was craftable. Selecting them would just list the required components. For instance, orc and steel arrows were craftable, but iron arrows were not. The ingots are recognized too, because afterward I went to the shop and sold all 5 to lose the weight.
Is anyone else having this issue? Can others craft iron stuff?
I'm hoping it's not just me and/or something that will only be fixed by having to start a new character. It's kind of funny. I have the worst luck with Skyrim it seems. I had the main Skyrim game on PS3, and with all of that game's bugs, causing me to have to do a hard system reset every time the game froze up, my PS3's hard drive finally died after having to do one of those resets. I was about 100 hours into the game and lost all my hard drive data. I still have never gone back and finished Skyrim, not wanting to have to start all over. It'll be kind of ironic if that ends up being what I need to do for this.
Anyway, crafting problem or not, this is my new all time favorite Zen table. Deep really has (once again) amazed me with how fun and, well, deep, a pinball table can be. Fantastic!
I'd love to see this come to PSVR (and have new tables release on PSVR simultaneously with the regular release. My only complaint with PBFXVR is that I've already spent so many hours on all of the tables before even getting them for VR. Playing a table for the first time in VR is really going to be something!)

Thanks again! Zen rocks! You all are the best!

Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot. Also I feel ashamed for I couldn't create a bug free experience. It should work if your inventory shows the necessary components. If not then I'm afraid something went wrong at some point that the patch couldn't fix since it is an individual problem. Maybe you can switch user on the Playstation system and try it with a fresh start character to see if its there from the start.

Hey, Deep. Thanks for getting back to me as always and please don't worry about it! I can't even imagine how hard it must be to do what you do and make such consistently great tables. These things happen and the fact that someone listened and tried to fix it is more than good enough for me.
I think I'll just start a new character on my Vita where that issue is and see if that fixes it. It really is no problem. Believe me it's much better than what happened in the Skyrim RPG when I lost that character.
If you want I'll post here and let you know, once I progress far enough, if starting a new character solved the issue.
Again, thanks for getting back to me and for all of your hard work. It really is appreciated!
