Is this an issue for everyone, or should I try a reinstall? If it's an issue for everyone they should really fix that with a patch. Not a singe one of the other game I own, whether it's from PSN or a from disc, load as slowly as Marvel Pinball. Half the time I wonder if my PS3 has froze but then I remember it's the game.

iy's pretty fast on my end... 15-20 seconds I guess... -
Will try a reinstall then. I just timed it with a stopwatch and It took 00:01:14.09 for the "This title uses autoload and autosave features" screen to come up.
A minute and 14 seconds? Way, way too long.
EDIT: Same thing on a reinstall. Talked my brother into buying it and he said it's the same way.
@steviej, proof or I don't believe you. :PLast edited by gbit9k; 03-26-2011, 08:53 PM.Comment

That screen pops up seconds after launching the game on my end...
I play offline, so the only thing I can think of is that it's not loading the game that takes so long, but connecting to the servers...Comment

I can confirm that, since I play the game both offline and online. It takes longer to load the game, when you are logged into the PSN. Otherwise, it boots up pretty quickly when you are playing offline.Comment

PS Blog says "they know about the error and will be providing a solution soon", who knows what soon is... typical SCEA store team dimwittery going on. Pretty much. It's been like 6 hours already, what the fuck does soon mean anyway? Bleh.
Edit: Just signing out of the PSN before starting has no effect. However, disabling the internet connection in the settings menu solved the problem. Starts right up now. Thanks guys!
But still... not a single other game takes over a minute to load. Online or off. PSN title or disc. There's definitely something that can be patched to remedy the issue.Last edited by gbit9k; 03-27-2011, 07:39 PM.Comment

I would like to ask some questions from the people who have this problem.
Are you USA or European user?
Had USA users experienced this problem before installing the patch?
How many friend do you have in the PSN network?

Edit: I uninstalled the game (again), re-downloaded & installed, signed out from the PSN (but kept the internet connection on in the PS3's network settings) and fired it up. Same thing. It took over a minute for it to pop up and tell me there was an update. If I declined the update it was another near minute and a half on a black screen before the "autoload" screen appeared. Same thing if I chose to install the update. It downloads, installs, then another 60+ seconds on a black screen before the "autoload" screen.
Hope you get it worked out. While it's certainly not a deal breaker (I absolutely LOVE the game), it is quite an annoying "glitch" and it would be great to see it fixed.
Thanks dgabor, for taking notice and posting a reply!Last edited by gbit9k; 04-01-2011, 03:33 AM.Comment

Hi!I would like to ask some questions from the people who have this problem.
1.) Are you USA or European user?
2.) Had USA users experienced this problem before installing the patch?
3.) How many friends do you have in the PSN network?
4.) what type of internet connection do you have?
2.) Yes! It's also noticeable with Zen Pinball and Plane Mini Golf as well. When I'm connected to the internet, those three games boot up slower than usual. However, it's not a big deal to me, since I'm used to it.
3.) 53
4.) DSL 3mb connection. I'm using a wired connection to the PS3 and it's directly connected to the modem (I don't like routers).Last edited by shogun00; 04-01-2011, 05:00 PM.Comment
