Zen have made recent comments to the effect:

'we know this distribution model [Pinball FX platform] works, so it makes sense to extend it to other devices'

I wonder if it will have the FX2 model of the game itself being free, with core/dlc packs requiring purchase?

Yess! They also have made polls about pinball views. Maybe Zen Pinball 2 is coming!

In response to a question regarding the merging of Zen Pinball and Marvel pinball, Zen had this to say:

"the consolidated game is coming."

Good news!

Presumably, this would bring Zen Pinball up to the standards of Marvel Pinball and Pinball FX 2, particularly in terms of physics. It may even see table updates, similar to those that we saw when going from Pinball FX 1 to 2.
