How to get free ball in ninja gaiden?

I have scored 100 million and unlocked 3 of the trophies and completed several chapters and have nearly 100 crystal skulls and yet have never seen a free ball awarded. Is it even possible?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to succeed in doing Test of Valor 4 times to get an extra ball.

I not really sure how to get a free ball. I have gotten a free ball several times but not really sure how i got it because when i get it there is a million other things going on at the sametime...lmao! But yes free balls are awarded
