  • Jaws table and Back to the Future table not using classic theme songs?

I watched the trailers for both the Jaws table and the Back to the Future table, and I noticed the absence of the classic theme songs in the trailers.

Are the songs in the trailers placeholders? Or was there a licensing issue that prevented the use of the classic theme songs for the tables?

As far as I know, Copyright licenses are expensive. Which is a surprise though since SW has most all the themes to their tables I'm guessing.

I too am disappointed that the classic themes aren't in any of the tables which is a shame. Back to the Future looks awesome but the lack of the brass theme from the movie is disheartening.

Hmmm... that makes sense about the copyright licenses being expensive. The theme songs are so iconic though, it feels like a missed opportunity not to use them.

I’ll still purchase the tables, but it’s disappointing to know we will be hearing generic theme songs instead of the actual theme songs when using the tables.

Every IP we work with presents new and interesting licensing challenges. While I cannot divulge confidential information, I can assure you that when licensing is possible for music, likeness, VO, etc. we secure the rights.

We also believe that Zen is fully responsible for these costs, and never use any investment or crowdfunding platform to do so (it is not about money here).

Thank you for clearing that up. I’m looking forward to playing the Universal tables.
