If people have 3 attempts with no set tournament end time how would the tournament end if people say only play the once?Leave a comment:

I agree. No mode should be "the more you play, the better you rank". Your rankings should be based solely on how well you play / score. A 3 game limit would seem to be a good limit to me, but I think you would also need some type of time limitation.Leave a comment:

And how would people feel about an 'attempts per day' limit, for example a five-day tournament that allows you one attempt per day?Leave a comment:

Great Idea.
Friends and I used to do this on Forza in a self regulated tournament. We would only get three attempts at a best time. We had to work on trust though!Leave a comment:

That's a cool idea, it would really put some pressure on the attempts you have! Wrote it upLeave a comment:

Having only 3 attempts per tournament would increase activity as everyone could participate in more tournaments at the same time!
If you just grind the same table in a tournament for hours...you have to focus on that tournament AND players who don't have as much time as you do have a disadvantage.
A "hey, I only have to play x times" is more time-friendly than "oh now, someone broke my record, I already spent 2 hours to play that table, don't want to play so many hours again".
An attempt limit makes you focus on the table, give your best, then go to a different tournament...and you also save time!Leave a comment:

New tournament idea: attempts instead of days
What do you think of a new tournament idea? Instead of days every player gets attempts instead. You can start a table 3 times. This way, every player has the same chance. If a tournament is available for 7 days, one player might have time to play 3 hours a day while others can only play twice in those 7 days.
A tournament with attempts would be better in my opinion! Of course starting the table counts as an attempt and not posting your score because you could ALT+F4-quit before your score is submitted if you don't like the result of your attempt.Tags: None
