Just curious what others might think about the 1 ball challenge and not being able to be rewarded extra balls. Yes, that would be more than 1 ball, but its a free ball and still considered ball 1. I would like to see an update that would allow for the inclusion of extra balls. Just wondering others opinion on this. Thanks.

I'd tend to agree with you, extra balls are part of what you do with your "Ball 1", they should definitely be taken into account, otherwise it means that you are playing a whole different table - a version of the table which doesn't reward you at all when you achieve some difficult tasks normalling leading to extra balls. If extra balls are disabled, the table will not be played the same, which kind of destroys the whole purpose. How I understand this mode, it should be as if you enter a café and play a flipper whose switches are set to offer you only 1 ball out of the 3, so extra balls must count.Comment

I'm with chivato on this one... one ball without extra balls. Certain tables e.g. Paranormal you will be able to use the magna save (can't remember if it was called such) to extend your game and I would even disable that for the one ball challenge. Ive not actually experienced this, is it necessary to go into the location where normally you would receive the extra ball even though it is not lit? For example after hitting the delorean 8 times you must then hit that ridiculously hard pole directly beside it that obviously is not illuminated in the 1 ball challenge.Accomplishments in real life

I'm with the no extra balls.
I am loving these challenges and tourneys. Haven't had too much time yet to really get into them yet, but I will.......Comment

As mentioned by @McLovin (and on the screen before you start the challenge), you get points for getting the extra ball, which coincidentally is how it's done in tournament play in real pinball tournaments for full 3 ball games.Comment

You answered your own question. It's called the '1 Ball Challenge' not the 'Ball 1 challenge'. Therefore getting an extra ball on 'ball 1' is a moot point.
