  • Lost all progress - twice!

    Twice now I have lost all of my progress with all upgrades and XP reset to zero

    Especially galling after spending hours last night grinding all the upgrades to L10 on Infinity Gauntlet (at least I get to keep the achievement for it!)

    I use cross play to play on my PC most of the time, but dip onto Xbox one also, but syncing always seems to take ages and never seems to fully work.

    Is anyone else having similar issues?

    We are working on this issue, we have submitted a patch to Steam that seems to have fixed this issue. Now we are working on rolling out a patch for other platforms, they have to pass Microsoft and Sony certification, and then they can arrive. We sincerely apologize.

      Can you please tell us if our lost progress is gone forever? Or will the patch be able to restore it somehow? I'm assuming that its never coming back, but who knows, maybe the data is on your servers somewhere and the patch could restore it.

        Pretty much same situation here on PS4. First time round I got a profile corruption message after maxing out all challenges on Sorceror's Lair. Yesterday I spent hours maxing out all upgrades on Guardians Of The Galaxy and now all my progress for all tables has completely disappeared (apart from the trophies themselves, of course). No error message this time. The game just acts as if I've never launched it before when I open it. Extremely frustrating!!!

        I manually backed up my game save to the cloud after my GOTG session but whenever I load that save my progress is reset. Is the game corrupting the data when it opens or was it already corrupt when I backed it up?

          Where did my previous reply go? I've already lost my game progress twice. Now you're losing my comments as well?

            I lost all my progress on Xbox too. Luckily I only had one real great run that I have to redo. No worries. I’ll wait for the patch. Crap happens. The game is incredible.

              Same here on PS4! Signed up to the forum just to post this. Really annoying losing progress! Just said my profile was corrupt.
