Finally saw a matchup that was 21 million and did not win. This is what happens. Hope to see more like this. You either make it or you dont.

I still dont think zen understands how things work. You now are able to face off in matchup against opponents that require you make 30 million. If you lose you lose 5 points. If you win you now no longer get domination points so rather than killing it and getting 80 points you now get substantially less or lose and lose 5 points. Whats the incentive zen. Go big and either lose or win big. Up the points for those willing to lose something otherwise everyone is going to go the easy road.Accomplishments in real life

Exactly, cantankerous--. Right now if you score 30 million points on a Tier 2 opponent where you only need 2.5 million points to win: you get 30 for the win, 15 for diversity, and 25 for the domination. Total of 70 points.
The same score (30 million) for a Tier 3 opponent where you need 20+ million just to win: you get 40 for the win, 15 for diversity, and maybe 10 for the domination (if that, maybe just 5). Total of 65 points. You are also at much greater risk of not hitting the 20+ million needed to actually win and losing 5 points and 3 minutes of your time.
It makes no logical sense to even attempt Tier 3 opponents with this current setup.Comment

You're right, they definitely need to rethink the current system and tweak some stuff. I didn't even realize that you could quit out and not lose any points. That's ridiculous.Comment

I actually went back and tried to leave when I knew I had lost and it did take 5 points away from me, so at least they did that right. Im guessing my intermittent internet contributed to me thinking I could just back out, because I did once before and it did nothing, but I must have been disconnected. Anyway, they take away points when you back out, but still, they should give some better incentive for even trying the harder challenges. Still lobying for a pop up that says you are no longer connected so I can fix it before spending time, wasted time to post a tournament score.Accomplishments in real life
