Why dont our tournament scores get added to leaderboards based on the criteria of the tournament..........ie If you play a tournament where everything is turned off and have a score higher than your classic score why does it not post to that leaderboard?

A question about tournaments
Accomplishments in real life
1. Rolled a star wars machine................ie played over 99 levels and rolled it back to level 1.
2. Rolled Nintendo punch out, several times, same quarter.
3. Played an entire game of dragons lair and completed it and won while blindfolded.

Also It would be nice to be able to see how many times we have actually won. Right now it tends to only show the last 10 or fifteen games. Make something that shows your win loss record so anyone can see it and not your last 15 games. And if you opt out of a match thats an automatic loss. Make it so. I know you can do it.Accomplishments in real life

I'd love to see this as well. On a stream i follow, we started a monthly tournament for a different table each month. It's a good excuse to play PBFX a little and i installed FX3 as i hadn't yet, only played the 2 until then and got many tables with the Humble Bundles.
The thing is i'm not a big pinball player nor a good one. So i mostly play in the tournament. The previous one was a classic one with all upgrades disabled. Here it's a 1 ball with upgrades disabled aswell. I don't know what are the rules about a 1 ball. If it can be enabled to enter the classic leaderboard or not if it still beat your score there. And if you could also win challenges stars, here for the 1 ball challenge.
I also started a thread more than 24h ago but it didn't show up yet. Apparently you had issues with bots so you put a moderation in place for new threads.
It was about saving progress even when you do a quick restart, mainly for the upgrades. It actually work for the XP apparently, but not for upgrades which is a little sad.Last edited by Harest; 01-06-2018, 01:03 AM.Comment

We arent asking for more xp. We or me to be specific is just wondering if you are in a tournament that is for example choose any item and and regular single player rules and are able to exceed your high score why does your tournament score not add to that leaderboard. Not asking for extra xp.Accomplishments in real life

Obviously i was being sarcastic. Even if your tournament score counted for leaderboard, you'd still get way more XP in single player mode for exactly equal effort which is so utterly laughable that i can't take this serious.
Sadly, tournaments are a complete pointless joke, unless you participate for competition's sake. There's nil reward for winning, except on the four rare priced tournaments held so far.Last edited by SiggR22; 01-06-2018, 11:35 PM.Comment

For Tournaments to be viable, 3 things need to happen:
1) establish a reward system that works, e.g. remove level cap so xp are worth hunting
2) make winning worthy, e.g. XP reward equals 1000, times number of participants
3) tournament scores should of course get on the leaderboard, if applicable
Also, for this to be valid, both save game and private tournament option must be abolished. In fact, they should have never been there in the first place, but this is another topic and should be discussed internally.Comment

I’d also like to see tournament scores go to the applicable leaderboard. I’m in a pinball group that plays two tables a week and that is normally all the time I have for pinball. The conditions are the same as far as scoring goes, in fact, I’d say that the scores from tournaments are actually more legit for leaderboard standards than the scores from regular play as in tournaments there’s no way to save your game and continue it later, so it eliminates the ability for people to cheat through save manipulation.
On that note, maybe what would be even better would be leaderboards that just used scores from tournament play as there’s no way to ever tell what scores on the other leaderboards are legit and which aren’t. If there was a tournament scores leaderboard then I know it’d become the main leaderboard I’d try to compete on and am pretty sure most serious, honest players would feel the same.sigpicComment

I just want to add that these tables sometimes take upwards of hours and in some cases over 10. To spend that much time playing a table and all you have to show for it is winning one silly tournament is not worth it. If I join a tournament I will usually just barely beat the best score then let the balls drop unless I'm the host.
I want my scores to count for something and even experience isn't really worth anything to me. I reached level 40 in like 4 to 5 days so now experience is pointless.Proud member of the Hyna Gang! Keeping pinball alive on the Wii U!Comment

What is the story on this? I recently started playing FX3 and loved the idea that I could compete in tournaments the whole time. One big disappointment for me is that the scores I put up does not count towards the single player leaderboard for a table. That is really a shame where the tournament rules for a table are the same as single player rules. I e.g. can’t see myself going for a Billion score again on World War Hulk after going for it in the tournament that I'm currently playing in. This is causing me to rethink putting effort into tournaments as I have limited time to play and certain tables I'll only play if it comes up in a tournament.XBox One Gamertag - PinStratsDan
