play anywhere not working correctly (not all bought tables on Xbox1 unlock on win 10)

Hi,

I was in shopping spree and bought following packs / bundles on xbox one ingame:
Pinball FX3 - Zen Classics
Pinball FX3 - Iron & Steel Pack
Universal Classics™ Pinball
Pinball FX3 - Marvel Pinball Season 2 Bundle
Pinball FX3 - Star Wars™ Pinball Season 1 Bundle
Pinball FX3 - Balls of Glory Pinball™
Pinball FX3 - Aliens vs. Pinball ™

they all unlocked and downloaded fine on xbox one, however they do not unlock fine on the windows 10 store version.

I'm having troubles with the Pinball FX3 - Marvel Pinball Season 2 Bundle, on pc it still shows a purchase button (even though i own it on xbox one and the win 10 store also says i own it) but clicking it (in game) produces an unknown error. On My Xbox i see 57/68 tables unlocked and downloaded however on the windows 10 store version i only see 51/68 tables unlocked the ones that are greyed out and i'm not able to download are:
marvel antman
marvel avengers age of ultron
marvels guardians of the galaxy
marvel venom
marvel deadpool
marvel civil war

they all came with the Pinball FX3 - Marvel Pinball Season 2 Bundle.

This is not the same as an import problem, the tables i owned previosly imported fine and i have no more tables to import so this seems like an xbox play anywhere problem where some tables bought on xbox one don't unlock properly on the windows 10 store version.

Also the xbox one version must be newer than the windows 10 store version as i get a profile is newer .. please update your game after sync profile data however there is no new update available on windows 10 store version (i did get an update on xbox one today)

Thanks for the report, I'll do a ticket about it.

In the meantime, you could try the import function like you did with the FX2 tables to see if the Xbox tables carry over. Please let me know if that manages to get some tables over for you.

Unfortunatly the import tables option has no effect here, it says it has no tables to import anymore.

As said in my initial post, i had bought the extra tables on xbox one almost all except those 6 unlocked fine on windows 10 store version. In order to unlock them i just to click on the (greyed out) table and scroll through the packs / bundles. The ones i had bought on xbox one showed a play & download button (ingame of course) instead of a purchase button. So clicking those buttons then downloaded the tables i had bought on xbox one on the windows 10 store version. They all worked except for the tables i list because the marvel season 2 bundle shows a purchase button while i own it (if i look in the store directly). I tried clicking on that purchase button (while i should see a download & play button) to see what it did and then i got that unexpected error. so i have no way to download those 6 other tables.

This is unrelated to import tables as import tables is used to import tables from previous version. This is dealing with xbox play anywhere, where you buy on xbox one and get the same things on pc (windows 10 store version) it almost worked for all tables except for that marvel season 2 bundle and thus those 6 tables i listed before as they are included in that marvel season 2 bundle.

I'll wait a few days and try again from time to time to see if anything changed

ps on a side note the marvel heavy hitters and cinematic pack also show a purchase button (which it does on xbox one as well i think so it's normal) however clicking that purchase button on windows 10 store version also produces an expected error. I still have other packs i could buy and where it does not produce an unxpected error but list the price and my payment options for example with bethesda pinball so not all packs / bundles exhibit this problem and in my case on the season 2 marvel bundle is displaying wrongfully a purchase button. Also my location is belgium so i probably have a belgium specific windows 10 store version yet i don't know if this is related at all.

I have the same issue, don't remember which tables, but some of them are not available in Windows 10 while they are on the Xbox... the only tables I don't have are the 3 new ones.

i just uninstalled pinball fx 3 completly and reinstalled because i wanted it to be installed on another drive. problem still persists even with the new version. Marvel season 2 bundle displaying a purchase button while i own it on xbox one so no way to download venom & the other tables which i do have access to on xbox one. Clicking the purchase button still produces the same unknown error messages. So the new update from yesterday did not fix it, but it did fix the out of date profile message after syncing the profile.

Hey, checking back in, could we ask for your Gamertag please? We could check on the server side based on your name.

You could also try deleting your store cache on Win10 (this will not erase anything from your account, just the cached store files from your computer) like this: http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-cl...in-windows-10/ and trying again.

Also is it normal i can not download any tables from within the store itselve only ingame by doing clicking (each time) on a table that is greyed out and look for bundles / packs i had bought on xbox, where there is a play & download button then clicking the download download & play button for the tables that work (not all of them as pointed out earlier). From within the store downloads never start, it tries but never shows any progress. I'm not certain if it's ment to be only downloadable from within the game or not. If the store would let me download the tables the problem would be gone as well i guess (because i see the owned tables in my library yet have no way to download them).

I can also supply order nr's if that's needed of all the packs i bought on xbox one, but it seems i only have problems with the marvel season 2 bundle with play anywhere. Can't get them. My order id for it was 4245098843 on october 16th

edit: tried the cache clear thing but nothing changed, tables still show up in my library in the store yet unable to download them on windows 10 and in game the marvel season 2 bundle is still listed with a purchase button yet clicking on the purchase button produces an unknown error. I'll try creating a video to show all of this if at all possible and upload to youtube

here's the video, sorry about the black borders not sure why youtube added them in original video was 1920x1080 (full hd). anyway everything is still visible and it shows all the problems and things i said above the only thing i did not do is show my xbox one screen, which i could have done using the xbox app but i only thought about it later.

edit: black borders are in it because i forgot to record fullscreen and it has weird dimensions sorruy about that

just like to report that i have bought all remaining tables on xbox one and on xbox one i have access to all 68 tables. However on windows 10 store i only have access to 60 of 68 tables. the 6 i posted in original post from marvel season 2 bundle and it seems "Pinball FX3 - Star Wars™ Pinball: Unsung Heroes" has the same problem making 2 other tables unavailable on windows 10 store version problem due to that wrong display of a purchase button instead of download & play (as i own them on xbox one and it's xbox play anywhere) and unexpected error message clicking on it

don't think spam bots are going to OCR youtube video's, but still tried the youtube blur thing lets see how it goes. Spam bots do however scrape forums for emails so i removed in other post. But still i have 2fa enabled not sure they would be able to do much then

What about me? My name is Thready Sparrow on Xbox Live. I paid for a lot of packs on Xbox 360 and they won't transfer over to Xbox One. I just bought 2 packs thinking maybe if I tried to buy them they would say I already own this content. This sucks because I really wanted to get into these tables again.

check windows 10 store app in your "downloads and updates" sections then click get updates and see if you can see the new version of pinball fx 3 if so download it and click on the tables again. The buy button is gone and is now correctly a download and play button for tables i owned, no more unexpected error. It's all fixed with me and now have 68 / 68 tables on windows 10 as well since this update. I did not use the restore / import option but i clicked on the grey table icons i was missing

Please check for the Win10/Xbox One update it should fix the Win 10 - Xbox cross import function!
