This has happened a few time to me & what I did was set Task Manager to Always On Top so I could then End Task without it disappearing

I've had this happen sporadically before but seems to happen more often, approaching every time, with the new patch. When exiting the game, the game goes to a black screen that you can't get out of. I can alt-tab, and see other apps running, but not then actually switch to any of them. So I end up ctrl-alt-deleting to get to a point where I can reboot. I can launch Task manager, but not switch to it to do an End-Task, so rebooting becomes the only option.

I had this happen once on starting the game as well.

This is on Windows 10, and not something that is happening on other games, so I think i can rule out hardware failure or system instability.
