  • Handheld mode plays differently then console mode on the Switch

I'm surprised no one has even noticed this yet and I'm not even talking about the frame rate. While playing Paranormal on the tv everything acts like it suppose to yet on handheld mode the ball gets shot at different points when exiting one of the holes.

This is just an example of what I'm talking about. When you activate the lock ball mode to start Multiball the hole that shoots the ball at the file reel is suppose to go through that hole but on handheld mode it hits the right upper flipper and bounces around. That's not the only hole that shoots off. All of them seem to be off by just enough that playing handheld holds a different set of rules to playing on the console. Now I'm not sure the frame rate is the cause of this but I can't believe this hasn't been addressed!

I think right now, for one, many dont own that system that post on this forum. I do. I bought two, one for each kid and I kind of kidnapped one of the switches for myself and play it from time to time. I did download the pinball fx3 with two free tables, but it isnt nearly as good as my ps4 version so I dont really play it. The framerate in dock mode isnt the issue. Its just not as clean and sharp as my ps4 so why would I play it? In portable mode its kind of frame glitchy and I have the stern pinball too and it seems to be better on framerate with less glitchiness.

      Hey,
I asked the Nintendo developers about this issue, and they told me that the Nintendo tables use the same code like every other platform even in handheld mode so we 'll look behind this issue!

I play mostly in hand held mode and haven't noticed any frame rate issues. I don't use a camera that follows the ball though so maybe that could be it?

Camera one does work much better but even on that camera tables like SoZ are choppy from time to time.

However what I'm talking about specifically is Paranormal and the balls getting shot out of the holes a bit off like stated above.
