Is there a way to see how many extra balls you have?

I'm curious if there's a way to see the amount of balls you have after collecting extra balls. It really bothers me not knowing exactly how many I have left in stock.

Trap a ball on a flipper and keep it held, after a few seconds the DMD should display STATUS REPORT, it will then display extra balls available and other game info like balls locked etc. You can also skip through to the info you need by pressing the opposite flipper. It can also be done when the ball is in the launch chute by just holding a flipper.

Thanks! I totally forgot all about that. On the Wii U you could check on the Gamepad screen and literally see how many you had.
