  • Question on the Nintendo Switch version (multiple local players, and account)

    Hello Zen Studios,

First I wanted to say thank you for your wonderful Pinball video games, they are absolutely amazing. I own the Steam version but I just recently found out you guys had a Nintendo Switch one as well. My father loves pinball machines (real and digital) himself, but I ran into a little trouble trying to figure out how to go about this.

Basically my father and I wanted to play a single Pinball machine, and be able to compare our high scores with each other. I found that in order to do that, I needed to make him a secondary Nintendo account on my Switch. This way on your leaderboards and friend scores, it will show up for both of us side by side. The only issue with this method, is that if you want to take turns playing you'd need to keep switching log ins back and fourth on the home Nintendo Switch button, which is rather cumbersome.

Is there a better way to do this? Maybe I'm just missing something and being a dummy. I also tried just using one account (mine), and when it has you enter your name after a game over on a machine, i put in either mine or my fathers, but it always shows my account name, and no other. I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm missing something.

Thanks again for any support and I appreciate your time,
    ~ Chris

    UPDATE:

I figured out that the local high scores (the names you input after a game over) are on a separate sheet.

For the online leaderboards, I think you will still have to switch back and fourth on Nintendo accounts. I was hoping there was an easier way to record everyone on the same system.
