We have recently had to reconfigure our pc and lost our existing Sorcerers Lair and other table's on which we have spent a few happy years of competing for the higher score. Now we have reinstalled the Sorceres Lair but it is operating in slow motion and in staccato movement is there a know reason gor this ?

Is the menu slow as well? How exactly you mean slow-motion? The games seems to run smoothly but the ball is rolling slow? Or every graphic and characters moves slowly?

The ball moves very slowly so you have press the flipper in anticipation then every now and then the ball shoots off

This sounds like there might be a configuration problem with the PC, probably some drivers missing. If the PC is running Windows 10, check in the Windows settings -> Windows update if there are any available driver updates.

Otherwise we would need a bit more information about what kind of computer it is and what precisely you mean by "reconfigure".
