    Hello there!

Following up with the support team who have been investigating this with your help, it seems like you have unlinked your profile in Privacy Settings.

This will erase every and all data on your profile, resulting in you losing the portrait frames.

    Watch out, everyone!

I had a similar issue last month. The game crashed and when I re-started it said I had a corrupt profile and reset all of my progress. I emailed the support team but did not get a response. I've seen a few people complaining of similar issues recently in the PlayStation communities.

Hi Chilli, thanks for your response.

I sent an email to [email protected] already on 28th August (subject: Currupt Profile). I didn't get a reply.

I've gradually been getting my upgrades back but it's been a pain. It's also annoying that I lost any collectables from playing in previous tournaments.

My big concern is that it could happen again so all this effort could be for nothing!

Corrupted save file is devastating and happened to me twice so far. Luckily, I'm a frequent backuper, ps+ cloud and/or USB stick. So my advice is to backup data after each considerable progress. Once the data's gone, it's gone for good! Zen can't restore it.

The corruption seems to happen after the end of a game where you achieved something. FX3 will then create a new save file, and if you press X too fast to start a new game, it will crash while saving. I believe this is the reason for the corruption. So please do not press any buttons after a game and wait until your score is fully displayed.
            Havn't had any crashes since.
Games crash occassionally when being pushed with too many tasks at once, even the PS4 system does. Quite easily btw...
The pattern here seems, if you grind upgrades hard via 1-ball challenges (like me, 42/55 table masteries), you're more susceptible to data loss, since you really wanna start new games asap, leading possibly but inevitably to total data loss when you're not patient!

              Thanks SiggR22,

I was pressing the x button repeatedly when the game crashed (trying to make the deadpool table hurry up and finish) so I think you've nailed it

I never considered backing up the save files but I will definitely do that now!

For me, this is a design flaw in the game. Your progress and collectables should be stored on the server like trophies and high scores so that they can't be lost. I love this game but it's been full of bugs since day 1 and Zen Studios don't seem very interested in acknowledging or fixing them. If you can corrupt your profile by pressing the x button too much there is something seriously wrong! The scoreboards and totally corrupt so it seems pointless going for high scores. The timer stops and starts randomly in 5 min and survival modes. I hope that they do something about these issues. They are starting to remind me of Farsight studios.

Thanks again for your help SiggR22
