Williams Tables Flippers

What I have found is that the rubber is really active on the classic tables, so I think that negates some of the possible flicking tricks. The flippers are pretty accurate though. In classic mode, they are far less linear than in standard mode, so you have to really work to improve your accuracy as those "tracks" you have in the standard physics mode to get the ball into the lanes is non existent to the delight of us arcade pinballers......

Just make the ball bounce at the back of the flipper bat the ball will get a very small nudge up when it land on the middle of the bat you can easily control your small flicks. Like putting the ball on the flipper lining in up correctly and so on. This is perfectly capable at all the new williams table. It's all about the speed of the ball on the new williams tables you do it like on the real table so control the ball between the back of the bat and the slingshot.Leave a comment:

Firstly, it's great to see these tables coming to FX3, they look and feel great.
The only thing I don't feel is different are the flipper physics. I was watching a guy on YOUTUBE HERE beta testing the tables and doing subtle flicks with the flippers, how-ever I can't seem to produce the same subtle flicks.
I'm playing on the PS4 by the way, I've tried doing super quick taps on the shoulder buttons, but can't seem to do it, is there a method for this?
Thanks,
Ste.
As I said in another post, I suggest that Zen add some sort of tutorial mode where they demonstrate shots and where the player should replicate it? Some of these things are very hard to get right until it clicks in your head and for that you need a lot of practice. In a game situation your are conflicted between playing the table and practicing shot and the opportunities are often few and far in-between. You also first need the skills to keep the ball alive before you can actually aim to practice certain skills
Anyway, I'm keen to hear what the situation is and if there is something I can do about it.Leave a comment:
