I was comparing the system requirements between Williams Pack vol.1 and vol.2
What shocked me was the great differences for the minimum required specs.

Vol. 1 says:



Pretty normal from what we knew FX3 would require.
But then I got to Vol. 2 saying this:



Wow!! That's a major difference!!
What happened??

Without a doubt, there was a performance hit between the packs. I felt it on my cabinet. The frame rate took a dump.

Also in this boat.

I had just put the finishing touches on my cabinet upgrade, and had it running buttery smooth.
40" 4K playfield
13.3" 1080p DMD
28" 720p backglass

Playfield was running off a EVGA GTX 1060 SC (6g), DMD and backglass were running off onboard graphics.

As soon as pack 2 hit Attack from Mars had some major slowdown. Also noticed a performance drop in Medieval Madness.

I have an MSI GTX 1070 OC (8g) on order to see if it solves the problem.
