I think this bug hapoen to me too in Champions Pub. Found some random way to fix it.

It affects all the new williams tables just released. They have released a patch for steam and home consoles are just waiting.

Just got this ball ejecting bug error on ToM table.Tried deleting profile backup from documents,even reinstalled game,nothing helps.

According to a quote from Chili in the bugs post:

Thanks for the feedback, it is very useful for us.

Good news, we found the bug! We have already fixed it but until we can make the new patch we have a workaround solution for those who suffer from this issue and cannot play their tables.

To fix it you have to load the table, restart it and quit the Main Menu while the intro camera is still running (so do not start the table). This should fix the game for now.

We are already working on a patch addressing this issue and some others as well (like the rewind one) and hopefully we can release it to you very soon.

Theatre of Magic Ball ejecting don't work

It does indeed. It's the primary reason I rarely play those modes.

Does the saving/reloading you do let you reload games after losing a ball too? If so I’d be willing to bet there’s some sad, attention-starved people out there that use that just to get their names higher on the leaderboards.

Pinball fx3 has crashed on me at least a dozen times since it released the williams tables so I regularly back up my profile after maxing out any power so I just reloaded my profile from yesterday's save so no biggy for me, but just wanted to share so others would be aware that the issue existed, but your fix will at least not leave those who do not regularly back up a way of fixing their game.

Vnus, a LUP's Club member, has found how to continue to play : apparently you have to deselect all your upgrades and wizard power, then launch a new game. The game after, you'll be able to play with upgrades.

I dont know if the classical game can be repared in this way but you can try.

I will post a video shortly and add it to this post, but thought this important enough to post, before you end up having to re install a previous profile and if you do not have one saved your screwed.

If you start a game and during the promo screen or whatever it is called where the table just moves around If you pause and view your table guide and then return to the game you will have no balls ejected and restarting does not fix it. Closing the application does not fix it. I have checked and it occurs on every new williams volume 3 table. I checked on fish tales to see if the bug degenerated to previous titles and at least on that table it does not so I assume its isolated only to the new tables. Will post a video shortly.
