  • Data East Pinball

I’m not sure but I think before Data East went out of business that Sega bought their pinball division. If so, does anyone know if Sega still has the rights to those Data East tables?
I would absolutely love it if Zen got the rights for Data East’s Star Wars table. That was the first table that I really spent any time playing and I loved it. I haven’t played it in ages but it will always be one of if not my all time favorite.
I’d pay $20 for a Zen recreation of that table alone.
Does anyone else remember that table? It had a big R2D2 toy as well as a Death Star that you interacted with on the play field. The force was incredibly strong with that table.

I myself had one for a while! I love it still Much better than any other SW themed pins. Sadly I sold it and I regret it.

Stern owns the rights to Data East and Sega pinball tables.

Deep, I’m so jealous! Quick question. Would already having the license to create new Star Wars tables help you all with recreating the Data East table if you got the respective manufacturer’s license?
Any chance we see you guys making that table in the future?

Our good relationship with Disney IPs would certainly help a lot if we would do the Data East SW pin one day.
