  • Matchup leaderboard

Are the scores at the top of the cross-platform matchup leaderboard legit? There are two players over 10k in my league which seems pretty ridiculous but I'm pretty new to fx3 so what do I know. When I limit scores to steam users this week's top drops to ~2k.

I've noticed that the wizard and superscore boards are overrun with either one guy's multiple accounts or maybe pirated copies w/ the same username?

Why doesn't Zen clean it up?

Most likely they are legit. The problem with matchup mode is that your rank/league points change constantly depending on your activity. If you don't play the mode weekly, then your rank/points will rapidly decline.

I play the PS4 version of the game and my scores are way above average, but I rarely play matchup. If I decide to pay matchup, then my rank is usually at the lowest bronze level.

Each table has some very good scoring opportunities, that can easily boost your score in matchup. Long time players are more likely to know them compared to newer players.

Strange. I'm also on ps4 and If I don't play at all my rank stays the same, however if I play even once and don't make the cut I will go down in rank. Hell, once you get highest diamond just quit.

Me and my gf (JPDS) just won the matchup with over 7000 points. It’s not impossible but def takes some dedication to dominate a matchup game. Also, the tables have to be the ones you like to play and understand how to get the most out of the high scores like missions, skill shots and combos.

Dude, most of those guys shoot for the bare minimum of points to satisfy the requirements then just let the ball drain for the other 2 minutes and they do this so that they can continue to easily achieve the target score each time the required score raises. If you go all out every single time you play eventually you will lose, but ya, some of them do cheat. Computer users have some way of cheating that those on console do not. I have seen the score over 100,000 on the top player during a time when I played this thing in order to get my diamond 3.
