Will Fish Tales challenges on Switch ever be fixed?

The challenges don't have a mode to choose they are independent

It's the same on the ps4. Only on survival is it an issue, but even then I find it a challenge in tournaments depending on the selected upgrades.

Each of the fish tales challenges jumps up in score after the first star to a crazy amount. 5mil to 50mil for example.

I was watching a video to see how people do it and their star score went up in a more sensical way like the other tables. I noticed they were on steam so is that how it should be on switch also?

Please could there be some hope of this being fixed?
