    Umm

I have been really enjoying the Williams tables, so happy they have recreated tables that give a very realistic pinball experience.
Playing the older tables feels so slow now 😳
Would love to experience older tables with the Williams physics, not so sure it would work though.

I get that many people use FX3 for access to these tables they otherwise would not have , and thats great.
Just surely a business should recognize that not all of its potential future income from its existing customer base will come through those releases only , and many of us have a few bucks set aside for more ZEN products that is staying firmly in our pockets for now.

I dont see why they cant release Williams Bally 'alongside' other 'original' release new packs and gain the best of both Worlds
My guess is that they didn't quite realise how big a market they are going to tap into with the Williams releases and that sales probably exceeded expectation. I don't know... just guessing. I agree, it would be great if they can release both types of tables and hope that it will be the case once this initial euphoria is over. I'm looking forward as well to the idea that they will release originals of the same license along with real table releases i.e. Indiana Jones. That will be perfect for me.

Beholdent now to a new licence ?

I love the ZEN tables but have ZERO interest in any Williams recreation, I own them all on VPX or have owned / do own the real life versions, so why bother spending one cent on them- again ?

Anyone know if ZEN have stopped new thought ideas - just like Hollywood has ??
    MASSIVE shame if so.
Well, I have been saying something similar for many years now. Even before they did Williams I was complaining about every new table being a licensed property of some sort. I sure do miss the original creations (most specifically the ones WITHOUT a license).

Some licenses were well thought out, like the Universal movies, Jurassic Parks and Aliens. But when they put all that work into the American Dan, Bob's Burgers, and South Park, well, I was about ready to give up on them.

All in all, it's the back end end of the game itself that makes it so awesome. The leaderboards and the community, the tie in to console and steam friends, that makes this game truly awesome.

I feel like I am the only fan that will say my faves to this day are the Earth Defenses and Secrets of the Deeps, etc. The El Dorados and the Romes I could go on....I would sure like to have more originals to play And I do dig what they've done with their real table recreations from Williams/Bally.

A little more optimism would be nice. Zen is not only producing censored Williams tables, look at the Steam versions as they're not censored.
Nobody knows what the future holds, maybe Zen will give us a few new original tables in the future.

I hear ya.Censored Zen Williams tables alongside Zen Originals is fine and welcome(well not the censored part).Censored Zen Williams instead of Zen Originals is absolutely not fine and absolutely not welcome.
It is possible Zen has found a more cheap(certainly much less creative) way to produce tables and the beginning of Censored Zen Williams will also have been the end of Zen Originals.I hope not but so far the lack of release of new Zen Originals speaks for itself.

It seems that there is now a much bigger delay in new tables being released than what was originally hinted at earlier this year. The Star Wars release on Switch seems to be the culprit behind this delay for us loyal Zen followers as it is apparently a big deal as the first Star Wars product on Switch (Nintendo?) and needs to have all the focus. From what I understood earlier in the year, prior to this delay, was that they will release packs more or less on a 6 week timing and that the focus for this year will still be the Williams / Bally tables with the remaining 6 unlicensed tables and something around halloween being the next released. The first originals are being planned for early next year. Who knows what is going to happen now (as Zen is not forthcoming) but the point of this all is that Zen will still release originals and for me, with the exciting prospect that they will also develop them with the Williams Classic Arcade / Tournament physics in mind.

The rest is me having a whine at you... so skip if you don't feel like hearing it

As an aside, it should not be hard for you to realise that you are in a very unique and privileged position to have played all those tables over the years. You are one of only a small group of people that live in a country where you have access to real pinball tables and can afford to own them and then further to have their own cabinets and / or PC's strong enough to play VPX. So, most people are not in your position where they are not excited by these tables being released by Zen. By most accounts, these are the best digital recreations yet of these tables blowing VPX's creations out of the water (not even talking about Farsight's). I can't really say if that is true or not, but Zen's release revolutionised my gaming, which was already dominated by their FX games, and now I'm having the most fun I've had in more than 10 years of playing it. I'm definitely not alone in this and you as a pinball fan should rather be excited by the fact that so many more people are being introduced to what real pinball is all about. In the long run it will only mean better releases (original and recreations) for us all as more money and effort is being invested (Zen's pinball development team is the biggest it has ever been). So, just be patient an all will be good.
