  • Addicted and with Attack From Mars, please help

I'm addicted to Attack from Mars, determined to beat a high score I achieved a few weeks ago on Classic (5,009M)

I just can't. I play it over and over and fail in frustrating ways.

Sometimes it just drains right down the middle, from the middle or sides. Sometimes I lose the ball straight away. I can't get past 3 attack waves without losing all three balls.

But I'm addicted. I can't stop trying... I just don't seem to be improving. I'm using nudging and in some cases it works but the nemesis is the attack wave or getting the forcefield down. The ball is so fast and often so straight.https://192168ll.onl/ https://xender.vip/ https://testmyspeed.onl/

    Tips?

Here is the link to the strategy I developed and some tips for playing the table and also included is a video where I follow the strategy. Let me know if it works for you.

My classic high score on Mars is 5.200M. My strategy: Hunt for the multi ball (lock lane) when the ball lands on the right flipper, never shoot straight to the the saucer defense wall. When you’ve got multiball, go full for the saucers center. When you’ve destroyed the second saucer, you can get an extra ball by shooting the hole.

It’s hard to hit the ball lock lane from the left flipper in classic mode so go for the hole with the left flipper. The hole helps a lot to gain points with the Martians attack and other benefits like a bonus multiplayer and the drop of the saucers defense. The more you shoot it, the more points and opportunities will come your way.

De bricks in front of the saucer are hard to hit without loosing the ball in the center. It’s a gamble. So hitting the hole with the left flipper is a safer way to let de defense drop and go for the destroy. When the defense dropped, its much safer to hit for the center because the ball doesn’t bounce back in a straight line.

It’s not like you’ll never hit the saucer’s defense when you aim for the multiball lane or hole. Some misses or panic shots will def hit the wall once in a while and these hits will also help you on your way destroying the saucer.

        Er,
        This is strange.
The original post is a copy of a post I did on the pinballfx3 subreddit.... But that's not me..
Is it some sort of spam account?

Yes, spambots are getting more clever all the time. Copying existing posts is one of their tricks. I assume those links at the bottom were not part of your original post? Better not click on those I guess.

Nah.. I'm sure plenty of people read your advice.

I love to figure out how to play a table best and safely so appreciate your advice. I haven't played the table in a while, but came up with a few good safety measures as well in my strategy.
