  • New Star Wars table?

Is the new Star Wars table, consistent with what Zen has done in the past, is that going to be coming out soon since the new movie has been released?

Zen rarely provides information about upcoming tables until about a week before release and as of now I have heard nothing regarding any new star wars tables.
    Accomplishments in real life

    1. Rolled a star wars machine................ie played over 99 levels and rolled it back to level 1.
    2. Rolled Nintendo punch out, several times, same quarter.
    3. Played an entire game of dragons lair and completed it and won while blindfolded.

Wow, this is a new market that may really heat up. Now there are two (2) 3/4 pinball machine suppliers, ToyShock and Arcade1Up. Now the battle between TPA and Zen has expanded into this market. If you could only pick one, which would it be? I would pick the Arcade1Up.

I think the Star Wars theme will draw more people to the Aracade1Up. If you ask the young crowd (who I imagine is the target) would they want a Star Wars game or an old 1980s pinball game I think they would pick Star Wars. Looks better too without the big bezel.

Reviews of the ToyShock were good, especially in the construction being a solid cabinet. Hopefully, Arcade1Up will be built just as solid.

          Arcade 1up looks better imo

And what you said the license would win people over.

I could see 3 themed Tables easily made by Arcade1Up. With each table having 10+ Digital tables.

          A star wars themed table
          A marvel themed table
          A Williams themed table

            I don't follow your response

I made the original post about the Star Wars table and I don't understand what you're talking about are you saying that another company like Zen is going to make pinball simulations and compete with them is that what you're saying? I tried to access your YouTube video and had no success . Are these tables by a new company that can be played on Xbox for example, that you are making reference to? please explain if you would. thank you.

Video was probably taken down because it leaked a new product early.

I know of No new Star Wars tables

The post was just showing that zen teamed up with a company named Arcade1Up to make 3/4 scale digital pinball tables. And the first one is apparently a Star Wars themed table.

See if this video doesn’t get taken down...

Honestly think the license has expired and these days both properties (I'm including Marvel here) have obviously been snapped up by Disney. There was no tables to coincide with the last SW movie and the prequels remain untouched. Marvel bit a billion using characters like Cap Marvel and Black Panther but Zen didn't do tables to coincide with their massive popularity. I'm sure if they could then they would (at very least tie in tables with lastest Avengers movies and numbered Star Wars movies were obvious if not full table packs which was often case with PFX)

Yeah it's strictly Williams tables now it seems, in fact I don't think there was any tables but then in 2019 or at least for the majority of it. They just seen the easier and cheaper option vs creating digital efforts from scratch, even Zen originals seems to have abandoned so I'm not sure I saw it as the weird and wonderful pinball sim game I loved before and instead it's a new realistic pinball sim kinda like Pinball Arcade mk 2. Also not if license is expired they didn't relicense any past efforts - Capcom (Street Fighter), EA (PvZ), Soccer (various teams), Microsoft/Destructoid (Ms Splosion Man) etc. They were all lost to us. Off memory I think PFX3 also lost Ninja Gaiden and South Park tables too, there's no money in paying for relicensing for old tables which I understand but not paying for it to release more from Disney's IP's is truly disheartening but the mouse house is well known to be greedy...

                  I agree with skode's post

I think that you are absolutely right and spot on for all of your comments it seems like Zen is strictly going to do non-licensed tables for Williams in Bally and what I mean by that is you're not going to see different licensed movies or music or TV shows or characters etc. on future releases because that is what Zen has released so far and I think that's the future for all of Zen's pinball releases it will be a very I think bland future but something is better than nothing.

I believe we have had Star Wars tables for every new movie including the spin-offs of Solo and Rogue One. We had them for the Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. So I would expect one or more tables for Rise of Skywalker. Some of the other tables were released months after the movie release (development time?) so this may be going on here too.
