Steam Pinball FX 3 settings sync.. can it be turned off?

I have a cabinet code for FX3 which I use on my cabinet and I also have FX3 on my main PC. I just got back into trying to beat my old scores but when I opened it on my main PC it screwed up my cabinet settings. I was able to get it back to the way I had it but is there a way to stop it from happening?
