  • Not compatible anymore?

I have a LG G2X and just reset my phone a couple days ago. I went to reinstall ZEN Pinball HD (my fav app ever) and it now says it is not compatible with my phone. I have Bought tables FF4, Wolverine, Excalibur, paranormal, tesla, epic quest, Civil war and Captain America. is this going to be fixed or are the new Star Wars tables too much for my phone? I love my pinball games. The only reason I don't have all of them is that I have the ones I didn't DL on my phone on the Xbox. They all ran flawlessly other then Wolverine (which would freeze on the wep X orbit 1 in ever 30 shots or so. But the frame rate was smooth.) Please help.

The game has been changed to support only Android 4.0 and above. Unfortunately LG and your carrier (T-mobile?) haven't released an update for your phone, and it looks like they probably never will. So you have 3 options:
      1. Email [email protected] and we'll get the monetary side of things straightened out
      2. If you're adventurous and a little tech-savvy, you can install custom, user-created firmware that upgrades to 4.0 or higher (Ice Cream Sandwich/Jellybean)
      3. You can wait for an official ICS/JB update. Because the phone is a dinosaur in cell phone years, I don't think this will happen.

Same TF300T model here. Same issue.

Except I am running the game in Enhanced graphic mode on Balanced hardware cpu profile.

I have not cleared the cache.

Which will hopefully show that these factors don't seem to be related to performance combination modes and the sudden frame rate crushing issue.

I have only seen this happen on the Civil War table for me. I think those tables with higher incidental animations have more of a lag.

And the scaling is what causes the issue, thanks to an obscure hardware bug that goes away when the name of the game is changed (!) but is otherwise untraceable except by the Nvidia hardware gurus, and they don't seem to be especially interested in spending a lot of time on fixing this.
I am very sorry I missed this answer, my Tapatalk let me down on this I guess.

Can You elaborate what You mean by changing the name of the game. Is this something I can do by myself without doing something illegal ?

No, it's an internal thing. There's no workaround possible for the problem right now.

              • Infinity Gauntlet multiball slowdown

                Hi

ACER IconiaTab A500 , ICS as up to date as Acer made it

in Infinity Gauntlet when I get the multiball with the multicolored balles the game slows down to a crawl.
Flippers stay in the up position til pressed again.

Like Barbie said, that multiball mode is normal. The flippers are supposed to be reversed and the first phase of that multiball mode is to free the two silver balls (that move slowly) from the magnetic pull with the blue ball.

Are you referring to the Swarm login? I've seen a few issues with it in the last couple of weeks.

I'm having the same issue on the Empire Strikes Back table, just a single flipper press speeds it back up. Standard settings on performance mode, doesn't matter if I'm connected to wifi or not.

                              • Zen Pinball still isn't working on my HTC Desire X (Android 4.0.4) even after the latest update, reset, cache clear etc (see also my posts on 5 March in this forum).

Any idea how I can investigate this issue? Are there somewhere crash logs to read or something?

(the issue is: When I click on the 'Zen Pinball icon', the (whole) screen turns black a few seconds and then returns to my homescreen)
