Barnes and Noble just recently introduced an update to the Nook HD and Nook HD + tablets that grants the devices access to the Google Play store. I installed Zen Pinball onto the HD + and it works perfectly. The device has a 1.5 ghz processor so it plays without lags or slow downs.

I would not recommend everyone who has a Nook HD download the app from the Google Play store as it is not a supported device and I've already had to give refunds for it. -
What kinds of things have gone wrong? I have it on my Droid Razr M, so I had already paid for it on that device. I'll admit, I haven't had time to play with it much, but did restore all my tables onto it.Comment

Well, I thought I'd monkey with this some more to see if I found any problems. It turns out that so far all the tables I have played have loaded up and played fine, except for the Star Wars tables. They freeze up and crash the app. So far it appears that it is just the Star wars tables with the issues everything else seems ok.Comment

I installed CM 10.1 onto the my nook HD and now the game is fully functional. No crashes when playing the star wars maps.Comment

I just noticed this. So where does this leave people like me, who have already bought tables on a Nook HD+? What happens if I have to reinstall the app, which is now listed as incompatible? It's bad enough that I spent money on tables that didn't work, and I was willing to let that slide, but if I lose access to all the tables that DO work I'll be furious!Comment

I usually play Zen Pinball with my Droid Razr M and it works just fine. Next time I get a phone I want something bigger though. I have an N2A card for my Nook HD+. If you boot it up with the card, it is basically rooted and running Jelly Bean. I managed to get Zen Pinball installed on it while in N2A mode and all the tables work perfectly, even the Star Wars tables. It handles the game perfectly, no freezing or slowing down. Is it possible to get it unblacklisted for users with N2A cards. I know if I removed it or tried to update it would be a pain to get back on?Comment
