How do I transfer local scores?

I had to do an RMA on my Nvidia Shield tablet. I would really like my new tablet to have all the same local scores as my old tablet. Is there any way to do this?

Isn't that all managed by Google play services (previously Swarm)? I don't think Zen works the same way as TPA does with its local database.
