This has turned into a huge headache and I could really use some help.
I turned on the app after a good year of not using it and wanted to purchase a few of the new tables. It told me that this version of the app does not support those tables, or something similar. There was no option to download an update for the app anywhere so I decided to uninstall and reinstall Zen Pinball with the hopes that it would let me buy the new tables. After reinstalling it from the android store, I ran it and saw that all of my tables were gone. Doing a table restore gave me back only 3-4 of the tables I had previously.
This is when I messed up even worse. I saw the new tables I was interested in on the app store and thought that if I purchased them through the store, they would show up in my table list when I ran Zen Pinball HD. I purchased 3-4 of the new tables and opened up Zen Pinball to see that none of the new tables were considered purchased.
I read at this point that someone else tried to re-purchase the tables they owned from within Zen Pinball HD and it would tell them 'You already own this table', and begin downloading it. I thought it was worth a shot and decided to purchase the 'Portal' table from within the game although I had already bought it outside of the game, in the hopes that it recognized I owned it and populated it into my list of tables. All it did was charge me again for a table I already owned. Not to mention, I purchased the South Park tables thinking they were new since it showed me that I didn't own them but the moment I turned it on I immediately realized that I had owned both of them before.
I decided to try the other tables I purchased from outside the app, as they open like a separate app altogether and not from within Zen Pinball HD. Each of these new table apps get as far as asking me to verify my identity for my account and crash to a black screen a few seconds later. I've never had a problem playing any of the tables from within Zen Pinball, but I can't even get to the menu screen from these separate tables that are considered 'outside' the main game. The 'Portal' table that I accidentally purchased a second time from within the game turns on and works just fine, but its counter-part standalone version won't even get as far as the menu.
So I'm in a confusing spot. The majority of the tables I've purchased before are all gone, the new tables I purchased don't show up in game and will not run for me outside of it, and I repurchased a table I already own accidentally because there are multiple ways to own and play the same tables and they apparently have different system requirements or bugs from one another.
To muddle things even further, most tables that I know I purchased, owned, and played the hell out of (Secrets of the Deep, Biolab, Rome, Pasha, Shaman, Fear Itself, Infinity Gauntlet, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Wolverine, Doctor Strange, World War Hulk, both South Park tables, and a few of the first Star Wars tables) are not in my purchase history. I'm really really confused by this.
What's going on here!? I really just want all my tables that disappeared back and for the 'external' non-functioning tables I purchased to appear in game where I can run them without a problem. The restore button is a great idea, I just wish that it actually restored all my games..
I spent a bunch of money on these tables, is there anything I can do to get them back?
